Regardez Moi x Shannon
Rival has to be one of the most sought-after lots for the astute buyer. He is out of the incredibly successful broodmare Shannon and by the No. 1 Grand Prix horse in Australia, Regardez Moi.
Shannon started her career as a broodmare, producing Daylight, currently campaigning with young rider Briana Burgess in Germany at Monica Theodorescu’s stables. A Grand Prix start is imminent and Daylight is winning at Prix St Georges and Inter I in Germany. Daylight has full brothers and sisters with Australian Grand Prix rider Sue Hearn riding Don Romeo here in Australia, winning at Prix St Georges and Inter I level. A full sister, Donna Karen, is owned by John Healey and she in turn has produced Jive Talkin’ BP (Jive Magic) who is considered by some a freak young dressage horse with Cornelia O’Mahony in the
saddle.
The very first Jive Magic foal ever was born by Shannon and this was called Jeff the Chef who is competing in the USA with Silva Martin and is the reigning USA Advanced Dressage Champion.
As can been seen by the photo Rival is born to live airborne and in the right hands is destiny bound for a stellar life.
